Round 2 of the Property Lease Program in Fallujah.

Here we are at the CMOC entrance during Round 2 of PLP.

In case you can't tell, I'm in awe of the Marines who run the entrance to the CMOC. There's a Sgt in charge, and several other Marines, to include "our girls," the female searchers, as well as some Iraqi Public Order Brigade soldiers. True professionals, all.

The first female Iraqi of Round 2 signs for her payment from SSgt "Moneybags."

She was gracious enough to allow us to take her photo, which would not have been allowed in this city a year ago.

(see below post for description of the PLP)

Hey guys...

Just surfin' random blogs, and I found yours. I am a youth minister at a Christian Church near Dallas TX. I want to tell you that I pray for you guys and gals over there every day, and my youth group (40 teens) prays for you every week too. We in the states are very proud of all that you are doing, and you are truly heroes and freedom fighters.

May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you all, and keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you. May you be tools in His hands to spread justice and freedom to the ends of the Earth. May He protect you in all your comings and goings, strengthen you to do His will, and bless you and your families back home now and always. Amen+

Thank you for all you do, and come back home safe. Now, go kick some terrorist ass for the sake of freedom and justice!

Found your site and I was interested in seeing a picture of the CMOC entrance. I left Fallujah in April, but my unit ran the entrance for the CMOC from January-March 2005. You are right, the Marines and the POB at the front gate have a very difficult job and do great work. I can truly appreciate what you are saying. Keep up the good work and kepp us posted.
Thanks & Semper Fi,

SSGT USMC

Have been reading your words now for several days and sending them to my friend, who served 2 tours (USMC) in Viet Nam. I am grateful and proud for men like you protecting us "over there" I pray for your safety. I publish a weekly newspaper and am swiping your photos to show what the media isn't showing. I hope that's O.K.
Semper Fi & thanks.
